I am new to this whole "Farmer's Wife" club. My husband Wilson and I were married in December of 2006 - during his harvest. He is a sugar cane farmer. Between the two of us, we have three sons: Ben is 7, Cody is 6 (just six months apart), and Landon is 3.
This is actually going to start off about my flowerbed, my first adventure into agriculture. I'm married to a pro, I need to unearth the green in my thumb.

Rain!
We got 1/2" of rain yesterday so I didn't have to water. Yay!
And this morning, I planted more cucumber seeds. We apparently threw the old seeds away, all of them.
I am a wife. I am a mother to four children. My oldest sons were born 6 months apart - figure that one out! My youngest son has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. My daughter has the potential to be a model - in my nonbiased opinion, of course. My husband is a farmer. My family is extensive and wonderful, wacky and loving, close and gossipy, funny and complicated. You’ll see…
